We got a dog! Our last pet died of old age about 3 1/2 years ago… an old and wonderful cat with personality to spare. Our noble and enormous Gordon Setter, “Murphy”, had died a couple of years before that.

First day at the lodge this season went remarkably smoothly… other than almost not making it up our driveway. There is a steep section at the beginning of the driveway.
