That is great to hear, I stayed in Mexico City for a couple weeks several years ago and the pollution was horrible. To have someone sweeping up littler in other areas besides the commercial/touristy areas is really good to hear. I hope you are still seeing improvements with litter in your town.

Those were some great videos! You can't beat the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans. My sister and parents both have a coffee bean roaster but I will have to try your grill method sometime.

I live in the southwest US and we have several species of hummingbirds in our area. I keep 3 feeders up here year round and have visitors most of the year. Hummers are incredible little birds. I feel fortunate to live where there are so many of them.

The Ruby-throated Hummingbird has a total estimated population of over 7 million individuals. This species of hummingbird was hunted during the nineteenth century for its beautiful plumage, but the Ruby-throated Hummingbird now enjoys protection from harvest through the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. This act declares unlawful the taking, killing, or possessing of migratory birds. It is also listed in Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna of 1975.

My husband and children have lived in the Great Smoky Mountain area for fourteen years. We love it. It's very family oriented. I wish we'd get a little more snow around here.

Funny thing, when we have a night get away, often we'll rent a cabin at thecabinkeeper.com. and stay at a cabin close to home (in case we need to get back to our children).

Despite the fact we live here, we still, after 14 years enjoy exploring localy and visiting different cabins in cool areas.

We were introduced to this cabin company about a year ago(I'll include a link in the signature since I don't know how in this part of the message). We've stuck with these folks cause treat us special and their cleaning practices are borderline obsessive. I mean their place are immaculate. Their beds are clean (everything) and not just the sheets. They leave coffee, gourmet chocolates and flowers and have a wonderful guarantee! My husband won't hardly leave the cabins.

I'm posting this beacause they truly deserve to be acknowledged for how good of job they do in such a sea of competition. Quite frankly, I don't think they have any competition.

If they could just make it snow!

Oh well, hope this helps someone looking to visit the Smokies ;) V.
